The world’s biggest fossil fuel companies have been directly linked to over 200 deadly heatwaves worldwide.
Every major heatwave this century, including those that struck Asia, was made more likely and more intense by their emissions. Some heatwaves that devastated communities would have been impossible without climate change.

This is not abstract science. These are real lives lost, real crops failed, real communities suffering, all because of decisions made in corporate boardrooms.
It’s time for accountability.

The forecast across much of Asia is calling for more than just rain—it's calling for trouble. Cloudbursts, intense, sudden downpours, are becoming more common, leading to devastating urban flooding.

This isn't a distant future problem; it's happening now. Our ageing storm drains and concrete cities can't handle the volume, and the cost is immense. How is your community preparing?

Cloudbursts are an intense rainfall event that can often overwhelm stormwater management systems and lead to flash flooding.

Authorities in the Philippines and Taiwan have issued urgent evacuation orders as Super Typhoon Ragasa barrels in, intensifying rapidly and threatening to unleash damaging floods and landslides.

The storm is forecasted to make landfall near Batanes or Babuyan Islands by Tuesday afternoon, with sustained winds of ~185 km/h and gusts reaching up to 230 km/h.

Officials are urging all families in danger zones to evacuate immediately and not to wait.

In Taiwan, about 300 people in Hualien County have already been ordered to move out of high-risk areas.
Please follow official advisories, prepare emergency supplies, and stay safe with your loved ones.

Tropical deforestation isn’t just about losing trees. It’s costing lives. 🌳

Asia is home to some of the world’s most extraordinary creatures, from snow leopards in the Himalayas to sea turtles along our coasts.
But climate change is threatening their very survival. Melting glaciers, vanishing forests, rising seas, and warming sands are putting Asia’s unique wildlife at risk.
Protecting them means protecting the beauty, balance, and biodiversity that make Asia so rich and irreplaceable.
Let’s act before these wonders vanish.

Asia is warming at nearly twice the global average.

The WMO’s State of the Climate in Asia 2024 shows the region is heating faster than the rest of the world. This means stronger heatwaves, faster glacier melt, rising seas, and greater risks for millions of people living in vulnerable coastal and mountain communities.

Asia’s climate crisis is not a distant threat, it’s happening now. Staying informed and working together is key to building a safer, more resilient future for everyone.
