Some wear uniforms. Others carry the nation in their hearts. Not all march with rifles.. but when the nation calls, they answer in their own way.

In this land, courage is common. Villagers lift missiles with bare hands and hand them to the Military. Citizens endure missile strikes night after night. with grit. Thousands queue to serve in civil defence. Children sit in blackout without complaint.
Here, we don’t cry for ceasefire. We call for escalation. We call for justice!

This is Pakistan ! Not just a country, but a civilization forged in fire, held together by nation!

The soul of a billion — unshaken, unbreakable, unstoppable.

We owe our freedom & peace to unprecedented sacrifices of our martyrs and veterans. Pakistan Armed Forces remain committed to ensuring the defence of motherland against all internal and external threats. Hostile efforts to spoil the hard-earned peace will be met with the full might of the Armed Forces, backed with the support and resolve of the people of Pakistan.

A terrorist attack occurred early morning today, the terrorists attempted to enter the Bannu Cantt by detonating a vehicle-borne IED on the road between the outer wall of Bannu Cantt and the supply depot this morning..

The Quick Respond Force (QRF) foiled the attempt by talking timely action and effective operation cornering the terrorists. The assault began early in the morning, when attackers attempted to breach the cantonment's security barriers using an explosive-laden vehicle. The attackers armed with sophisticated weaponry and wearing su***de vest, initiated their assault by detonating the vehicle at a checkpoint. The massive explosion created chaos and allowed the remaining attackers to push forward.

As the gunfight continued, the military enforced the lockdown in the area, suspending Internet and call services to prevent the attackers from coordinating further assaults or escaping. The security forces launched the clearance operation later on.. more details are coming in..

We shall not allow attempts to sabotage peace. We are ready and committed.

Our Shuhadas have families, friends and loved ones, who have been sacrificed their only sons, fathers, husbands, in the last few months.. even of the the day of Eid, we see them stand guard.

It has become a fashion these days to criticise the Pak Army for no reason. I’ll request all those to have a look at the life and journey of a soldier of the Pak Army. It is the era of the fifth generation war and it is really easy to criticise the army by using the platforms of social media. All those critics and haters should spare a few minutes to study the journey of a soldier. He bravely passes through the hardships of training and performs duties hundreds of miles away from the comfort of family and home. He is alert 24/7 at the borders just to ensure our comfort in our houses. He is standing firmly in front of the enemy and therefore Pakistan is safe today. After performing all these duties diligently, a soldier never demands an increase in his salary. He never goes on strike in order to get his demands fulfilled. A soldier never complains of workload throughout his life. Therefore, it is the duty of every Pakistani to acknowledge the services of our brave soldiers who are our defenders. As responsible citizens, we must highlight the stories of their bravery instead of criticising them for no reason. They will be more than happy to see the entire nation standing behind them firmly. It is an established fact that no one can defeat you when your military has the strong backing of the whole nation.

It is a reality that martyrdom is the ultimate goal of a soldier. To sacrifice his life in defending this motherland is his basic purpose throughout his career. Unfortunately, some haters who speak the language of the enemy say that the soldiers fight only to get money. The whole of Pakistan will be at borders if it is so easy to give your life in return for getting some money. It is the blessing of Allah Almighty that He selects a very few people for this noble cause of rendering their lives while defending the motherland. Having strong faith in Allah Almighty and Jihad are the basic hallmarks of the Pak Army. Undoubtedly, Pak Army is the defender of both the geographical and ideological boundaries of this country.

"Protecting the nation comes at heavy price..

Funeral prayers of Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed (age: 24 years, resident of District Rawalpindi) who embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland in North Waziristan District, was offered at Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Defence Minister, Information Minister, COAS and a large number of serving and retired military officers, soldiers and relatives of Shaheed attended the funeral.

At the occasion, the PM remarked that these sacrifices reaffirm our resolve to defeat terrorism in all its forms for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan. He said that the nation stands resolute against these foreign-abetted terrorists and their facilitators and these adversaries of Pakistan will be comprehensively defeated through a multi-domain strategy based on whole-of-the-system approach, InshAllah.

The Shaheed will be buried at his native home town where he will be laid to rest with full military honours.
