Finally started a video I’ve been putting off for years — part laziness, part fear of not doing the game justice.
After being sick on and off since January, I finally had the energy to sit down and start.
I know I’ve been yapping lately, but starting something you’ve dreamed about for years hits different. 🎮🖤

Once again, a comment caught my eye while I was enjoying my coffee — this one made me smile.

May we all find someone who shares our interests, respects us, and grows with us, the way my high school junior did.

Last night, I made a pretty normal post in a few Valorant groups looking for people to queue with.
Nothing dramatic, nothing deep. Just gaming.

As expected, there was a bit of trolling — it comes with the territory. But some of the comments and reactions were honestly more amusing than offensive.

The classic “touch grass” comment was the first thing I saw with my morning coffee. Which was funny, because… this is a gaming group. We’re all here. Sir, what grass are YOU touching? 😭

Then came the haha reacts. One in particular stood out — from someone who had previously posted in the same group looking for teammates and got zero responses. I can only assume the logic was: "people replied to her because she's a woman, therefore that’s unfair."

And that’s where I pause for a second.

How is it a woman’s fault for receiving attention?
Did I post anything vulgar?
Anything suggestive?
Anything extraordinary?

No.

So maybe — just maybe — the frustration shouldn’t be aimed at a random girl existing in a gaming space, but at the way men in the community treat each other differently.

I’ve been in this community for a long time. Comments and reactions like these don’t really bother me anymore — at most, they mildly entertain me.
But I think about the girl who just got her first laptop.
Or the teenager borrowing her sibling’s PC to try gaming for the first time.

Those reactions land differently on them.

I’m not pretending to be a saint — I’ve been toxic before, I’ve said dumb things, I’ve grown out of a lot of it. And now that I’m in a more peaceful phase of life, I’d rather use my voice to raise awareness than stay silent.

Gaming should be fun.
Communities should be welcoming.
And no one should have to justify their existence just to queue a match.

Anyway — back to touching grass between games 🌱🎮

Most of you here probably know me from a few years ago.
Before I officially step back into social media and content creation, I felt it was important to re-introduce myself—and set a few clear expectations moving forward.

I’m Auri, the creator behind Auriri Games. This page originally started as a space for live streams, but going forward it will also be a platform for any content I feel inspired to create—gaming, creative projects, thoughts, and more. This is my page, and I’ll be using it with that freedom. If the content no longer aligns with your interests, you’re always free to unfollow—no hard feelings.

That said, there are boundaries!

✨I do not do meet-ups with people I’m not personally familiar with in real life.

✨Please do not ask personal questions such as where I live or other private details.

✨Respectful interaction is expected—anything crossing that line will not be entertained.

In the past, a lack of clear boundaries led to situations I’d rather not repeat. A lot has changed over the years, a lot has happened, and to a certain degree, I’ve changed too. I’m more peace-loving now, more intentional, and more protective of my space. This is a fresh start, and I ask you to keep an open mind about the content and tone you’ll be seeing from here on.

One thing that remains close to my heart:
All stream donations will be forwarded to animal welfare initiatives.
