CONTINUING FROM LAST POST:

Immediately I went to the computer. I didn't even know how to turn it on. One of my daughters had left step by step instructions and I followed them.

All of a sudden I started typing a story about a woman who is a reporter and she is lost in the Australian Outback.

Through her journey there she realizes that all she needs to come out alive are the skills she has within her. She has nothing of the material world but she doesn't need these things anymore.

Through the story she discovers God and that each of us has a sort of power pack within us that will unfold as we need it. We have everything we need to survive inside of us. God put it there.

The book is called THE GIFT OF THE MUSIC MAKER and through it, the characters discover that the thing about us that someone doesn't like or the thing about ourselves that we would like to be rid of, is in actuality our gift if we learn to use it in the right way.

Twenty years ago I was in a very bad situation and was ready to give up. I couldn't eat and only managed to subsist on a tablespoon of applesauce first thing in the morning before my anxiety kicked in.
I slumped against the wall in my bedroom and cried. I told God, "I have tried so hard to make everyone happy and I just can't anymore. I give up."
I heard "Go to the computer and write."
