🌴🏕🏞 ELIM BEACH CAMPING | CAPE BEDFORD, QLD 🏞🏕🌴

After making our way along the beautiful coastline, we settled in at Elim Beach Campground, where the sound of the waves and the relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind.

We spent our days exploring the incredible Cape Bedford area, taking in the stunning white sand beaches, crystal-clear water, and rugged headlands that make this part of Far North Queensland so special.

Driving along the beach and ruggered beach tracks, discovering the colourful cliffs and secluded spots felt like another hidden gem on our journey.

As the sun set each evening, we returned to camp to enjoy a quiet night by the fire, reflecting on another unforgettable stop that reminded us just how wild and beautiful this part of Australia truly is.

🌴🦋🦁 THE BLOOMFIELD TRACK THROUGH TO THE LIONS DEN, QLD 🦁🦋🌴

The next part of our adventure had us tackling the Bloomfield Track. From the moment we left the sealed road behind, every kilometre brought something new. We crossed clear rainforest creeks, climbed steep sections and took in some incredible views that made every part of the drive worthwhile. The track wasn't challenging and we easily towed the camper trailer along with us.

We visited Wujal Wujal Falls on our way through and took in the spectacular sight of houndreds of thousands of litres water rushing over the giant rock face.

After making our way through the track, we stopped at the iconic Lion's Den Hotel. We grabbed a cold drink and pub dinner, soaked up the atmosphere and wandered through the historic pub, taking in the stories and signatures that covered the walls. It was easy to see why it's become such a legendary stop for travellers.

We found a beautiful riverside campsite where we settled in for the night. We set up camp and spent the evening listening to the gentle flow of the river while the rainforest came alive around us. As the stars appeared overhead, we couldn't help but appreciate how peaceful it all was.
