Hundreds gather for historic time of prayer and worship at Tower of David. There was a historic gathering of prayer and worship held at the Tower of David near Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem yesterday. The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) and drew a large crowd of hundreds that united Jews and Christians. Leaders from both communities addressed those in attendance with strong declarations of God’s promises of peace and unity over Israel’s capital and her people. The vision behind the gathering came from Eagles’ Wings, a global cross-cultural movement led by Bishop Robert Stearns, who began the ministry in the early 1990s.
Government leaders, including Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Sa’ar, attended the event. The Jerusalem Post reported that Sa’ar stated, "I hope that we are the closest to a hostage deal since the deal in January. And I want to thank President Donald Trump for all his efforts regarding this huge mission of bringing all our hostages back home [...]. The Israeli government has a commitment to bring home all the hostages – dead and alive."
Moshe Lion, the mayor of Jerusalem, was also in attendance. He told the crowd, "At the heart of all our prayers is the return of the hostages, the end to the war and the beginning of a new chapter in our region, so we pray to see our loved ones home as speedily as possible."

Archaeologists Discover One of the largest Hoards of ancient coins found in Israel. Archaeologists from the University of Haifa announced the discovery of a rare cache of Byzantine-era gold coins during excavations in the ancient city of Hippos (Sussita), near the Sea of Galilee.
The excavations at Sussita have been going on for 26 years, under the direction of Dr. Michael Eisenberg and Dr. Arleta Kowalewska of the Zinman Institute of Archaeology and the Department of Archaeology at the University of Haifa.
The large hoard of gold coins was accompanied by articles of gold jewelry, semi-precious stones, pearls, and glass. The archaeologists even found evidence of a coin purse, which likely held the coins in the past in order to protect them.
“This is one of the largest hoards from the Byzantine period discovered on dry land in Israel, and its uniqueness lies in the combination of jewelry and gold coins from the reigns of different emperors,” Eisenberg said. “Remnants of fabric were found on some of the coins – a trace of the cloth pouch in which the hoard had been hidden.” www.onlinemiddleeastreport.com

Israeli Firm Develops Worlds First Heart Valve Implant Without open-Heart Surgery
Israeli biomedical firm TruLeaf Medical has completed the first phase of a groundbreaking human trial for a catheter-based device that replaces diseased heart valves without open-heart surgery, its parent company Allmed Solutions announced this week. The device, called the RoseDoc docking system, is the first of its kind.
The device was successfully implanted in two patients in India. The trial was the first step in a two-stage catheter-based procedure to replace faulty tricuspid and mitral valves without performing open-heart surgery.
The two patients were suffering from severe, treatment-resistant congestive heart failure caused by leaking tricuspid valves. Neither of them had any viable options left for treatment and were under what is known as a “compassionate care pathway.” According to Allmed Solutions, the procedure was successfully performed in India on Sept. 5.

Former Israeli hostage Daniella Gilboa recently signed with Acum, a nonprofit company that represents artists, composers and musicians, giving her the opportunity to collect royalties from her music and videos.
Gilboa spent 477 days in captivity in Gaza and was released by Hamas in a public ceremony earlier this year, along with fellow soldiers Agam Berger, Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, and Naama Levy.
She is now a well-known Israeli songwriter who wrote, “Ulay Tipatach HaDelet” (“Maybe the Door will Open”), performed by Eden Ben Zaken, a three-time winner of “Singer of the Year” in Israel.
The song was written by Gilboa and two friends, Yam Glass and Aviv Hajaj, before the Hamas attacks. Glass and Hajaj both perished in the massacre

As part of ongoing excavations in the City of David, archaeologists uncovered the remains of a dam over 11 meters (36 feet) high and more than 19 meters (62 feet) long, built to block water from the Gihon stream from flowing eastward into the desert beyond Jerusalem.

One of the walls slopes to effectively hold back the pressure from a large volume of accumulated water while the other is vertical. The structure is almost 10 meters (32 feet) wide, according to the archaeologists, indicating that it was constructed to contain a considerable amount of water. The discovery of the dam itself is not new, but a far more accurate date has been put forward for the structure.

Previously, it was thought to have been built any time from around 700 B.C. as part of siege preparations by Hezekiah, to Hasmonean and Herodian times in the first century B.C. Now, according to more accurate dating methods, researchers have dated the structures back to the time of Kings Joash and Amaziah in the 8th century
BC.The waterworks of ancient Jerusalem, including Hezekiah’s Tunnel, the Pool of Siloam, a huge moat, and this large dam, have given experts plenty to ponder as they try to piece together the city's history.!

Ancient Egyptian coin reshapes view of Jerusalem between Temple periods.
An ancient gold coin featuring Egyptian Queen Berenice II has been discovered in Jerusalem’s City of David excavations, causing much excitement among experts. The rare coin is small in size, but significant in shaping the way historians understand the city of Jerusalem following the destruction of the First Temple.
The coin representing Queen Berenice, who lived from 246–222 B.C., is one of approximately 20 similar coins known to exist, and dates back some 2,200 years. It is the first such coin to have been discovered in a controlled excavation in a proper archaeological context. It was found in the Givati Parking Lot excavations conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) in the City of David National Park.
Dated to 246–241 B.C.E., it was minted in Alexandria for the queen during the reign of her husband, Ptolemy III, the Hellenistic ruler of Egypt. Experts believe the coin could have been part of a special series paying bonuses to Egyptian soldiers returning from the Third Syrian War, fought between the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt and the Seleucid Kingdom of Syria.

Are we closer to the End Times Than We Think?
The buzz surrounding the idea of a 'Third Temple' seems to have
gone up a notch. Unofficial road signs are appearing, directing people to “The House of the Lord.” They may be made by rogue sign makers in a guerilla operation, but their very existence signifies that something major is brewing.

Never far from the minds of many Orthodox Jews, the reconstruction of the Temple is something promised in scripture several times in both the Old and New Testaments. What was once dismissed as the pipe dream of fringe radicals is now beginning to crystallize into a tangible possibility within our lifetime – especially amid current discussions of previously unimaginable peace agreements.

Each day, the Jewish people pray the “amida” – a set of blessings said three times a day, facing Jerusalem. The seventeenth blessing, “Avodah” (which means service, or worship) goes like this: "Accept Your people, O Lord our God, and receive their prayer. Restore the most holy service of Your house and accept in love the offerings and prayers of Israel. May the service of Your people Israel always be pleasing to You. May our eyes see You return to Zion in mercy. Blessed are You, O Lord, Who restores His Presence to Zion." The prayers and expectation in Jewish tradition includes faith in the biblical promises of regathering Israel, rebuilding Jerusalem, and the restoration of the Temple.

An end-times Temple is mentioned in the Bible several times in prophetic literature, such as Isaiah 2:2–3, Micah 4:1–2, Daniel 9:27 and Zechariah 14:20, as well in the New Testament in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 and Revelation 11.

It is described as the “Temple of God” and the “House of the Lord of Hosts,” yet it seems from the texts that it will at some point be defiled by the antichrist “standing where he should not stand” as Jesus says in both Matthew and Mark, referring back to Daniel’s prophecy.

The Temple Institute has been campaigning and preparing for the Third Temple since its establishment in 1987. The museum in Jerusalem’s Jewish quarter presents displays of how the First and Second Temple might have looked, with models and replicas of all the accoutrements along with the outfits of the priests. In addition to being an interesting stop for tourists, the Temple Institute is actively pushing for the rights of Jewish people to worship at the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism.

Scientists from Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science are creating AI “digital twins” in order to predict diseases before external symptoms are detected, according to a new study published in Nature Medicine.

“The project aims to pioneer a new era of predictive medicine through a comprehensive AI model trained on the entire dataset of each participant,” Ynet News reported.

The AI model is meant to build “an integrated health profile capable of forecasting likely medical events years in advance.” www.onlinemiddleeastreport.com

M**s and Muslim leaders from France, the UK, Italy and the Netherlands brought a “message of peace” during a visit to the Jewish state where they were hosted by the Israeli President Isaac Herzog at his official residence in Jerusalem. The trip was organized by ELNET, an NGO that advocates stronger relations between Europe and Israel.
The Israeli president welcomed his guests and stressed that both Muslims and Jews are children of Abraham.
“We are all children of Abraham, and I believe the historic progress in our region is a progress of dialogue between Muslims and Jews, and Jews and Muslims,” Herzog stated. “What you’re doing on this visit, and in your courageous work, reflects the silent majority in the Middle East and around the world who yearn for this kind of shared life." www.onlinemiddleeastreport.com

Jews of Iran remain hopeful after 12 days of war now , Noga Iranian Jew living in Israel’ described a quiet but enduring hope.
“Sometimes my husband and I watch the news and cry. All of us – even Iranian Jews themselves – feel that finally, Israel is doing what maybe it should have done 30 years ago. So we’re watching both fronts with anxiety and heartbreak but what is happening in Israel is more painful. My son, my brother and my cousins live in Israel. I hear how they run in fear with their small children to bomb shelters in the middle of the night. And it hurts.”
Still, she and others dream of a future beyond the fear. “There’s even a joke going around among us – ‘Passover 2026, we’re all celebrating in Shiraz.’ That’s how confident we are that Israel will finish them off once and for all, and finally free our brothers in Iran.”
Noga remains hopeful – not just for a ceasefire, but for a lasting peace that will mark the end of an era of fear.
“We’re dreaming of the day after – the day we’ll all sit together in living rooms, whether in Israel, America or Iran, and tell our grandchildren and great-grandchildren about the historic miracle that Israel made happen. How, in just a few days – God willing – the Israelis gave us back our country. How they freed them from the mullahs. Look, we’re in the middle of a war. People still don’t grasp what an enormous favor the State of Israel is doing for the whole world by eliminating the head of the snake. It’s the end of a dark era.”Iranian Jews pray at the Yousefabad Synagogue in Tehran November 23, 2006. (Photo: REUTERS/Raheb Homavandi)

The Significance of Israel's Attack on Iran from a military and Prophetic .Early Friday morning, Israel launched a bold, historic, and wildly successful military operation targeting Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure, as well as eliminating key Iranian military and nuclear figures. The strike involved some 200 Israeli Air Force jets, along with sophisticated Mossad covert operations on the ground, and marks a pivotal moment in the long-standing shadow war between Israel and Iran. From both a military, and Biblical-prophetic perspective, the operation carries profound implications for Israel, the Middle East, and the global stage. From a Biblical and prophetic perspective, the operation resonates deeply with certain eschatological interpretations, particularly Jeremiah 49:35–39, which speaks of God’s judgment on Elam (modern-day Iran). The scripture declares that God will “break the bow of Elam, the finest of their might,” scatter its people, and destroy its “king and officials,” yet ultimately restore its fortunes. It’s very easy to see Israel’s pre-emptive strike not only as a military success, but realization of this prophecy, with Iran’s nuclear capabilities and ballistic missiles representing the “bow” and the elimination of senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists aligning with the destruction of its “king and officials.” The specificity of Elam in the prophecy is notable, as Biblical prophecies rarely name precise locations, lending weight to the belief that this event carries divine significance. Ultimately God declares that He will establish His throne in Elam, the icing on the cake after the elimination of the Islamic regime.
The operation’s codename, Am KeLavi (A People Rises Like a Lioness), comes from Numbers 23:24, where Balaam, originally sent to curse Israel, blesses the nation instead, likening it to a lioness that “will not lie down until it devours the prey.” This imagery underscores Israel’s resolve to neutralize existential threats and frames the operation as a divinely ordained act of self-preservation. The reference to a Lion is also significant because the previous Iranian flag, before the Islamic revolution, had the image of a lion.
I’m particularly compelled by the warning to Haman in the Book of Esther (6:13), “If Mordecai is a Jew, you cannot win. You have already started to fall. Surely you will be ruined!” Haman was an ancient genocidal Persian tyrant, the predecessor of today’s ayatollahs. The verse is significant too because the operation took place on June 13, 6/13, and as many Jewish friends have observed, 613 is the number of Biblical commandments to the Jewish people.
Biblically, no matter which way you look at it, the operation is not a war against the Iranian people but as a liberation from the oppressive rule of the ayatollahs, who have held power since the 1979.
While the military and prophetic dimensions highlight the operation’s significance, what comes next is uncertain. Militarily, the strike may delay Iran’s nuclear program, but it is unclear if Israel can eliminate it entirely. Despite many other attacks on the Iranian nuclear program virtually, they have continued to bounce back, making today’s strike urgent. Even with physical destruction they have suffered so far, they have the knowhow, and drive, to rebuild unless there is radical regime change.
The risk of escalation remains high, and Israel on high alert. It’s possible, too, that some of Iran’s terrorist proxies may try to attack: from Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Gaza, or to strike soft targets overseas.
From a prophetic standpoint, the operation fuels hope among some that it could trigger change in Iran, with the Iranian people rising up to take back their country, and aligning with Biblical promises of restoration. Israel Jet taking Off as part of Operation Rising Lion (Photo IDF)
