두 남매가 이제 한국으로 돌아가네요.
돌이켜보면 처음에 수업을 했을때, 남동생이 카메라 앞에서 공중제비를 하고 있던 것이 기억난다.
정말 웃을까 울까 그런 느낌 이었는데
1년이 넘는 시간이 흐른 지금, 컴터앞에서 의젓하게 협력하며,
열심히 노력하는 모습이 마치 조카들이 성장하는 모습을 지켜보는 듯한 느낌을 준다.

한국에 돌아가면 말을 잘 듣고 잘 먹고 잘놀고 건강하게 자라며 행복해야 돼~~

The two siblings are going back to their own country.
Looking back, I remember during the first few lessons, the brother was even doing somersault in front of the camera.
But now, more than a year has passed, now they are able to sit in front of the computer and behave so well.

올해, 이 쌤과 저는 성공적으로 국제 중국어 교사 자격증을 땄습니다!

비록 우리 학생들이 이 와중에 좋은 결과를 얻었지만, 우리가 모르는 것이 무엇인지 모르기 때문에, 사실 그것이 우리가 더 배워야 하는 이유입니다.

학부모님들의 적극적인 협조와 지원 덕분에, 우리는 성공적으로 국제 중국어 교사 자격증을 취득했습니다!
다른 말로 하면, 우리는 국제 학교에서 가르치는 것도 지원할 수 있답니다!

하지만 외국인 학생들도 현지인들이 하는 것처럼 중국어 교육을 받을 수 있고, 중국어를 통해 현지 사회에 융화될 수 있도록
그룹 수업을 통해서 학생들을 돕는 것이 더 의미 있고 맞다고 생각합니다.

Although our students have achieved good results along the way, but as we don't know what we don't know, so actually that's the reason why we should learn more.

Thanks to the parents of the students for their willingness to cooperate and support, we have successfully obtained the international Chinese teaching certificate!
In other words, we can also apply to teach in international schools.

But I think it is more meaningful and precise in helping each students to aim at group teaching so that foreign students can also get Chinese education like the locals do as much as possible, and can integrate themselves into the local community through Chinese.

She said:
‘I’m not sure it is ok to send you this while you are sick, but I just wanna say thank you. I heard from my son that few days ago you were preparing Chinese essay writing for my son…. And eventually he got the highest score among all the native students, even among All the Chinese second languages students..
You know right..? I always appreciate. “

Thank you too dear parents for your trust. You have an excellent son, what I do is just work as catalyst to enhance and sharpen the skills, so that he can benefits more from learning, especially experiencing the foreign life.

주제는 쉽지 않네요:
‘인성교육이 지식교육보다 더 중시해야 된다’

- 이때 학생의 생각을 더 깊이 파고
- 학생 주장을 수준 높은 중국어 표현으로 안내하고
- 학생이 스스로 암기하면서 말을 나올수 있는 표현들 수정하면서
- 학생은 큰 목소리로 토론할 수 있도록 자신감을 키움

중국어는
단순히 언어 셤뿐만 아니라
순조로운 의사소통에 큰 역할을 맡은
도구다.

My story

Hi, I am Yen.

Since 2015, I’ve started teaching and guiding Chinese beginners to learn Chinese language.

I guide my students to pass their HSK and IGCSE examination, school lessons, daily conversation, etc.

I was an engineer working in a petrochemical factory. However, I found that being an engineer is not a thing I really enjoy, and my enthusiasm was not there. Compare to engineering, I prefer languages. I can speak 4 languages and I love them all - Mandarin, Malay, English and Korean.
