Music sensation Sista Afia reveals a side of her life that many people don't realize: the betrayal of a lover that shaped her view of love.

Sista Afia revealed candidly on
Adom TV's 'Okusek' show co-starring Emelia Broby that she wanted to embrace her youthful vitality and explore love to the fullest, but that was the innocent and wrong person. She said it led to her dating.

Her first red flag was that her partner was having a child with another woman, but Sista Afia, blinded by her love, said she was doomed. She said she accepted and continued her relationship.


She is shattered when she discovers that what she thought was her unconditional love, her lover married another woman while they were still together.
She withheld some of the details of her ordeal, but admitted she was shocked because she didn't expect her longtime lover to be so ruthless.

“Eventually I let go and found happiness because sometimes when a partner is carrying certain negative emotions God reveals them early on. "I felt blessed. It was a learning point for me in future relationships. I will tell potential partners what I have been through so that they do not repeat such acts." she said.

At the time, her future was so uncertain that her lover expressed the idea that she didn't see her own worth, saying, "I'm here now, and he doesn't want me to come here." I don't think I've ever seen a ," She added.

Sista open-minded approach to her love life, based on her own personal experience.

Hard-earned, she understands that lower expectations lead to fewer disappointments. She advised women to prepare and be strong so that, even in the worst case, they would not be trapped in the past and live with pride.

In her new book, "I am not Yvonne Nelson," the Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson says that rapper Sarkodie had an affair with her in 2010 and that she had to abort the child.

Yvonne tells the story in her very detailed book that the incident occurred when Sarkodie was still struggling to find his feet.

“As a sexually active young woman who misses her monthly flow, I had gone for a pregnancy test to confirm what becomes the most obvious conclusion. I was in the organization of Karen. I also lacked the strength to open the test result when it came out. She did, and she announced the outcome. Charlie, there it is! She cried out.

I would have laughed out loud on a normal day, which would have sparked a slew of funny conversations and jokes. However, this was not a joke. It was a gloomy piece of information that had the power to completely alter my perspective on the world. I called the man whose potent seed had germinated in me because I wasn't the only one responsible for the situation. Michael Owusu Addo is a well-known Ghanaian musician who prefers to be called Sarkodie.

“Sarkodie was a talented musician who had the potential to become one of Ghana's most well-known artists and artists outside of Ghana. However, the future appeared bleak at the time, and his path through life's maze appeared still too hazy to predict. It wasn't guaranteed to succeed. Yvonne writes in the book that "he was still living with his mother and was not ready to carry a burden while he was being carried by his mother."

When asked about her relationship with Sarkodie, Yvonne says that it wasn't anything "serious."

Yvonne says that because Sarkodie wasn't ready to be a father, she had to make the hard choice to have the child.
