How to use Pinterest to drive traffic to your website
The first about Pinterest is that you should have knowledge on how to use and set it up for your website or blog.
N.B what I highly recommend is that first learn how to use Pinterest on a business account for personal use maybe a test drive 😹🙃 not anything serious. This helps as you would know what's working and what's not. And the other BIGGEST and significant reason is that Pinterest can shutdown your account if you were not adhering to certain rules so imagine your only business account which was driving traffic to your website being shut down. YOU DON'T WANT THAT, DO YOU.?
HOW TO BOOST YOUR WEBSITE TRAFFIC USING PINTEREST
1. Don't use a personal account for promotion on Pinterest. Pinterest personal account doesn't have other features which the business account has. So if you want to promote your website, blog or business then the business account is your way to go.
2. Build your own boards and use keywords to name them. Having your own boards makes you look like an expert in a certain niche. Empty boards won't cut out but boards with relevant pins and a well made description with relevant keywords would make you stand out in a crowd or in your business. Building boards about your website and sharing a bit of what you website is about, can also make your audience eager to know more about your website then visiting it to learn more.
3. Keyword research. Now this is a very important piece when it comes to even starting a single thing on Pinterest. This is because your bio, boards, pins all of those need to have keywords so that when your people search for Cats then your account can also pop out on the search engine. Having right keywords grabs attention of people thus wanting to visit your website and see what's in store for them there.
4. Include your destination link. This is where you are directing people to, example directing people to your blog or website so by inserting the URL and people clicking on it. It's also fine if you include your URL on every pin you share on Pinterest.
5. Be consistent. This is what every person, every coach, teachers, business people teach.
