So I don't usually pop into my socials to drop recommendations, but I wanted to wholeheartedly recommend the movie Weapons if you are into horror movies. It may come as a surprise to some, but I'm not huge on horror movies, because most of them rely too much on BIG BOOM IN YOUR FACE style jump scares, or shock horror. I'm more into the slow burn psychological style horror.
That said, Weapons was insanely well done. Zach (Yes, he's one of the silly dudes from Whites Kids U Know) is an immensely talented writer that really knows how to pull you into the story. I also personally love Josh Brolin (No Country For Old Men is one of my favorite movies), and I adore Julia Garner (Ruth was one of my faves in Ozark). Throughout the movie, the scares felt earned, and there were minimal jump moments; the entire thing was cohesive, there were a handful of subtle laughs, and overall... I just loved it.
Of course there was some gore, some fairly messed up moments, but overall it was a great movie in my opinion.

That's just my opinion- I just wanted to throw my hat in the ring for a recommendation. If any of you go see it based on my recommendation, please do let me know your thoughts! And before anyone says it; no, I'm not sponsored, or paid for this. Patience and I just went to see it last night, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not often do I read a book that I genuinely want to recommend to others- one that REALLY hits it home with me in pretty much EVERY way. But I actually have one that I want to recommend to you all, and it's more or less about timeline shifts and Quantum immortality!
The name of the book is "Recursion" and it's by Blake Crouch. I think it was recommended to me by someone else (or maybe not, I don't remember how I found it), but I wanted to recommend it to anyone that enjoys my Glitch In The Matrix stories and is looking for a solid Sci-fi story that isn't space and aliens.

If you read it and review it, tell em that it was recommended by the "As The Raven Dreams Podcast" to fluff my ego even more (this is a joke, you don't have to do this, I'm just in a cheeky mood 😂)

Jokes aside, do check it out if you are looking for something new to read and dig that kinda story. It's pretty well written, and Blake and a really cool idea when they put this one together!

It's my last day in my early 30's, I enter "Mid 30's" territory (34) tomorrow and I'm not feeling it, lol.
