Over the course of three days, we partnered with beloudstudios to help high school students develop one of the most valuable skills they can have today: the ability to communicate ideas through video content.

Together, we explored how to turn a thought into a story, how to capture it with an iPhone, and how to edit it into a piece of content worth sharing. Along the way, students worked in teams, interviewed people, developed scripts, and created original videos centered around the topic of misinformation.

Huge thank you to Be Loud Studios for creating opportunities like this and for trusting us to be part of the experience. We loved watching these students grow in confidence, collaborate creatively, and discover that great content starts with having something meaningful to say.

Here’s to the next generation of storytellers. 🎬

We recently partnered with Youth Run NOLA to create a series of short-form story videos that highlight the organization’s impact through the voices of students, parents, volunteers, staff, and community members. 🏃🎥

Instead of relying on one overview video, this approach creates a fuller picture of the organization’s impact while giving audiences multiple stories and perspectives they can personally connect with.

Most nonprofits already have powerful stories. The problem? There’s no system in place to capture them.

The organizations that consistently inspire donations, volunteers, and community support don’t just “hope” stories happen; they intentionally collect them. 🎥

Strong storytelling should be part of the culture:
→ Team members noticing meaningful moments
→ Capturing testimonials proactively
→ Gathering perspectives from volunteers, donors, staff, and community members
→ Creating systems that make storytelling consistent instead of random

When nonprofits build systems around storytelling, they stop scrambling for content and start building deeper trust with their community.

What’s one story your organization should probably be telling more often?

Last night, we traded cameras for taps and spent the evening volunteering at serving beers and raising money for a mission that invests in the next generation of leaders.

Moments like this remind us that the work goes beyond the content we create. It’s about showing up, supporting our community, and building real connections.
