Hello! I have been reliably informed I need to introduce myself. But there’s a reason I named this press for a type of being it’s near impossible to see, and it’s certainly not about demonic appearance or a habit of wandering lonely forests and terrifying hikers. I'm happier hyping others than being the focus of attention, which is, unsurprisingly, how UCP came to be. I am a sometimes crime writer and too-often poet (you can find my poetry at ) & I spend a day a week surrounded by some of the most talented poets most have never heard of, so it seems inevitable that UCP would eventually be born. I don’t know what this little cryptid will bring unto the world, but I’m certainly looking forward to finding out.
