To celebrate this Father’s Day weekend, PodSqod presents a cheeky little demo from our preschool animated series ‘Bedtime Songs’: The Burp Song.

It’s a show that follows the bedtime routine of a dad and daughter, so we figured there’s no better time to share a sneak peek!

"Bedtime Songs", the animated preschool bridge series PodSqod partners, Rahul Bhatt and Christopher Sweeney, created, is going to Kidscreen Summit next week. It’s hard to watch your babies leave home without you, but it’s a necessary part of life. Sniff.

We took this sweet, song-filled concept to Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) last September where we met lots of great folks who gave us a hugely positive response. One of people we met was Leslea Mair of Zoot Pictures Inc. She and her team loved the show and will be taking it down to San Diego to shop it around.

More moves in the kids scripted podcast space: again in this case leveraging existing IP with Hasbro's Peppa Pig with Audible, but it shows that the big boys and girls etc. understand that this is a valuable resource to develop. Deadline Hollywood .

Always great to see companies leaning into the scripted kids podcast space like this Kidscreen article on Nickelodeon's 6 new podcasts for kids. As the company states in the article: "We believe that there is opportunity to engage existing fans and build new audiences in this still-emerging space for kids and families.”

Excited to see more and more audio fiction/scripted podcasts coming out from different providers, this one, Chinook, from 30 Ninjas and Realm is appearing on Wondery. While following the common model of leveraging well-known actors, seeing a relatively unknown writer/director in the driver's seat is empowering.
