Native of Marseille, Forrest Bump produces Melodic Techno. His passion for music began in his teens and influenced by artists like Victor Ruiz and Boris Brejcha, he decided to bring his own compositions to life. On July 17 2014, then a member of another project, he seized the opportunity to do Boris Brejcha’s closure in Marseille. In 2015 and 2016, he accompanied NTO as his sound technician on his
festival tour, including Dour and I Love Techno. He also takes part in the Sigma 555 project, a Marseille-based electronic music duo, on various aspects of the latter. In 2022, he released his first project entitled “Subway”, and managed to capture attention with the tracks "Subway" and “Storm”, thanks to a unique blend of melodic sounds and techno rhythms, arousing growing interest. He experiments with elements inspired by the steam punk aesthetic, adding a unique touch to his compositions and his universe, where electronic music and steam punk meet in a singular way. His debut album “Alone in the Sea” was released on 23 June 2023, with the desire to strike hard right from the start by initiating a new creative cycle. With “Alone in the Sea“, Forrest Bump deliver to us its unique universe, designed to be experienced as a whole, where the listener is taken on a journey, sailing through the different ports of call with a rare intensity. The journey is as enjoyable, if not more so, than the final destination.
