As the environmental crisis escalates in the world, journalists are more than ever expected to report on it to inform on how we all can work together to save our planet.
This is a task that takes on great importance as we desperately find solutions to mitigate the effects of global climate change and reduce gas emissions that heat up our planet every year.
However, reporting on the environment also comes with a cost. In the Philippines, journalists have been harassed, even killed for reporting on environmental issues.
Nevertheless, journalists continue to do their task.
We honor those who have done their share on this work and commit ourselves to this endeavour no matter the cost.
