Musicians and celebrities are paying tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after his family have announced his death at the age of 76.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the family said in a statement. He was with his family and surrounded by love."
The former Black Sabbath frontman had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019. His death comes just days after he performed his final show in Birmingham, alongside his bandmates at the Back to the Beginning benefit concert.
Following the news of the singer’s death, Alice Cooper released a statement saying, “The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. He was and will continue to be a rock n roll legend. Rock n Roll is a family and a fraternity. When we lose one of our own it bleeds."
Singer-songwriter Yungblud shared photos with Osbourne on Instagram, adding: "I didn't think you would leave so soon. Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own."
Other celebrities – like Elton John, David Beckham, and Rod Stewart – have also paid their respects.
