Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Ingredients:

For the dough:

- 2 cups warm water
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg

For the filling:

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

For the glaze (optional):

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions:

1. *Make the dough:* In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. Add flour, salt, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a shaggy dough forms. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

2. *Prepare the filling:* In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

3. *Assemble the rolls:* On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a 1/4-inch thickness. Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on one side. Roll the dough into a tight log, starting from the long side with the filling. Cut the log into 8-10 equal pieces.

4. *Let the rolls rise:* Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving about 1 inch of space between each roll. Cover and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.

5. *Bake the rolls:* Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

6. *Glaze the rolls (optional):* In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.

Tips:

- Use high-quality ingredients, such as real butter and pure cinnamon, for the best flavor.
- Don't overmix the dough, as it can lead to tough rolls.
- Let the rolls rise in a warm, draft-free place to help them rise evenly.
- If you want a gooier center, bake the rolls for 15-18 minutes. If you prefer a firmer center, bake for 20-22 minutes.

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 ripe avocados, diced
- 4 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and your choice of spices. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.

2. In a large bowl, arrange the fresh spinach leaves as the base.

3. Top the spinach with diced avocado, cooked shrimp, sliced almonds, chopped cilantro, and diced red bell pepper.

4. Drizzle the lemon juice over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Peach Pie with Crumble Toppings Recipe📌

Ingredients:

For the filling

~ 4 cups peaches peeled and cut into ¼ inch slices, about 6 peaches
~ ½ cup sugar
~ 2 tablespoons tapioca flour or cornstarch
~ ½ teaspoon cinnamon

For the Crumble

~ ½ cup flour
~ ⅓ cup brown sugar
~ ½ teaspoon salt
~ 6 tablespoons butter cold
~ 1 cup pecans chopped
~ ¾ cup oatmeal

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400º.
Add peaches, sugar, and tapioca flour to a large bowl and let sit for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. In a food processor, combine the flour, brown sugar and salt. Add cubes of the cold butter and process until it forms small clumps. Add pecans and oatmeal and process just 1-2 times to combine.

3. Roll out the pie crust and place peaches in the pie crust. Top with crumble, place the pie on a baking sheet, and bake for 30 minutes at 400º.

4.Turn down the temperature to 350º, cover the edges of the pie crust with a pie shield or aluminum foil, and bake for another 30 minutes until it is bubbly at the edges.

5. The peaches should be tender when poked with a knife. If not, cover the crumble with foil so that it doesn’t burn, and cook until the peaches are tender.

6. Let cool for 30 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
