NYISHI GENEALOGY;
The universe was created millions of years ago from nothingness called JIMI JIMA or MIMI MAMA followed by a period called KURYUM KULU: there was no light, no sound, no life, thereby called Kurium Jimi (believed to be gaseous mass), there was no separation of Earth (SIICHI / SACHANG) and Sky (NYEDO), planets or stars.

Slowly the Earth and the Sky separated like shapes called CHIT RILLUM (SIICHI-CHIT) and DOT-RELLA (NYEDO-DOT). DONYI, the sun was created. The sun starts shining – UJII DOLA JIQP, air starts blowing - HOJ PADA MIQP, separation of land – hills, valleys, mountains, etc. Separation of water body – river, ocean, lake, etc.

Life started, in this period called – CHIIT CHIGAR GARLIN’ and DOT DOGAR GARLIN’, the first human being was created and called CHITU (SIICHI CHITU) and her offspring was called TANYI (CHITU-TUNI). Hence, TANYI means man.

Nyikum Tanyi was the first man who married natural objects like heaps of leaves, leeches, insects, birds, and animals. These points the evolution of man through different stages – PYOI TANYI, NYAI TANYI, NYIMA TANYI, NYIKUM TANYI, NYIYA TANYI, etc.

Nyikum Tanyi married DONYI YAI CHUMJI, then JIIT ANE. With JIIT ANE he became perfect human being called “NIDAR TANYI or NYIYA TANYI”. All Nyishi are believed to be the children of Abu Tanyi born from JIIT ANE, daughter of AYU DONYI (Great Mother Sun).

Genealogy of the Nyishi Tribe
The Nyishi community refers to the Abu Tanyi (AboTani) as their origin. A son of Abu Tanyi, Nyiha (Niya) is considered the first perfect human being. For ease of understanding the paternity in the genealogy of the Nyishi tribe, the names of children are derived from the last syllable of the father. For example, Talang, Langung, Gungte, and so on.

The Nyishi categorically comes under four forefathers,

Hari, Dodum, Dopum, and Dolu.

The genealogy are counted as :

Tanyi - Nyiha - Hari and Haring.

Hari - Riku - Kunghi - Hungbing - Bungdung & Bingley.

Tanyi - Niha - Haring - Ringdo - Dopum, Dodum, and Dolu.

Dopum - Pumbh- so on.

Dodum - Dumgar, Dumke etc.

Dolu - Lutung - Tungdu - Durik, so on.

of Nyishi inhabitant District;
They are spread across eight districts of Arunachal Pradesh: Kra Daadi, Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, West Kameng, Papum Pare, Keyi Panyor, parts of Lower Subansiri, Kamle, and Pakke Kessang district. The Kurung Kumey and Kra Daadi districts have the largest concentration of Nyishi population. The Nyishis also live in the Sonitpur and North Lakhimpur districts of Assam.

Itanagar is the capital and largest town of the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The seat of Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the seat of government of Arunachal Pradesh, and the seat of Gauhati High Court permanent bench at Naharlagun are all in Itanagar. Being the hub of all the major economic bases, Itanagar, along with the adjacent town of Naharlagun, comprise the administrative region of the Itanagar Capital Complex Region. This stretches from the Itanagar Municipal limit at Chandranagar Town extended until Nirjuli Town, and is a major junction of cultural, economic, fashion, education and recreational activities.

in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The name literally means "Fort of bricks"( brick being called "Ita" in the Assamese language). The Ita Fort was built as early as the 14th or the 15th century. The fort has an irregular shape, built mainly with bricks dating back to the 14th-15th Century. The total brickwork is of 16,200 cubic meter lengths which have been identified by some scholars with the Chutiya kingdom. The fort has three different entrances at three different sides, which are western, eastern, and southern sides.
Jawaharlal Nehru Museum, Itanagar is also known for showcasing the rich tribal culture of the state.
Gekar sinyik (Ganga Lake) is a beautiful natural lake which literally means confined lake in the Nyishi dialect. It is surrounded by a landmass of hard rock. Primeval vegetation, orchids masses on tall trees and tree ferns contribute to its popularity as a hot picnic spot and recreation hub. Boating facilities and a swimming pool are available at the site.

The name of this district is derived from the Kurung and the Kumey, the two principal rivers which flow through it. According to the myth the Kurung and the Kumey rivers were two sisters; during the age of marriage Kurung eloped without prior permission from her parents and Kumey got married according to her parents' wishes. Therefore, the Kurung flows with a violent roar and ashy colour because her parents shout and throw ashes after her, while the Kumey flows silently and clearly with pleasure from her parents. So people Accepted River was more beautiful than the Kurung River and followed the discipline of their parents.

The Kurung and Kumey rivers have the potential for angling and rafting. There is abundant fish in the Kumey river in Parsi Parso. It has good scope for angling, etc. Likewise, there are numerous waterfalls, breathtaking landscapes and views, the World War-II plane wreckage near Koloriang town, sea fossils near Darmu, ruins of unknown human settlement (houses made of stone) near Damin, and many mysterious caves.
