CALL TO ARTISTS:

The Panama City Symphony invites visual fine artists to participate in a unique collaboration celebrating the enduring relationship between art and music in an exhibition at the Panama City Center for the Arts.

This exhibition and concert experience is inspired by “Pictures at an Exhibition,” originally composed by Modest Mussorgsky in 1874 as a tribute to his friend, the painter and architect Viktor Hartmann. Later orchestrated by Maurice Ravel, the piece remains a beloved orchestral showpiece. Now, today’s artists are invited to complete the creative circle – creating new visual works inspired by music that was itself inspired by art.

Artists may submit up to two original works by December 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CST.

Olga Guy is a watercolors artist who enjoys using vibrant colors to create paintings with a semi-spontaneous style. As an instructor she will introduce you to different painting techniques to help you improve your skills and discover your own painting style.

This Panama City artist dedicates her full time to create exquisite watercolor paintings and teaches art lessons at her private studio. Her spare time is allocated to continue with her altruistic activities to help promote local art and artists in the Bay County area.
