What is Love? Do you fall into it or is it a practical outcome based in knowledge and practice?

It is a modern misconception that you "fall in love." Although a delightful romanticized notion of comfort, this a drastic illusion at best.
•
How often have you fallen for something, yet to reach the sobering conclusion that what you 'fell' for is now what you climb from or out of?
•
Sure, some may get it right the first try(hit a homerun), where the falling into love brings within it the noble climb as well: but this is a rarity that should teach us that the skill to predict outcomes can't be built or directed by the hope of coincidence.
•
Mastery of love would suggest that in notions of love where outcomes are expected, "you do not find love, you build it. You do not fall in love, you climb to it." It could be that in love we should suit up for a climb; where in the pursuit of this noble work, we learn how to build the outcomes in love we want.
•
So in your quest for love or in its higher ideals, be careful what you "fall" for because "eventually you [may] find that love is not where you fall, but it is found where you climb, and in what you build once you grasp it."

In modern dating & relationships NO man or woman has it ALL.

This can oftentimes make the things we want in relationships an optimization problem. One of the key elements to mastering love and relationships is understanding you can not have it all( at least not all at the same time), but you can choose the outcomes you want.

Today is the final day of the 12 days of love challenge!

For both men and women, I know it has been a journey these last 12 days, some days more challenging than others, but you have made it.

Thank you all for the continuous feedback and for completing the challenges. Hopefully, it has been something to uplift, encourage, reflect upon, and motivate you towards a deeper understanding and aspiration of love.

So choose today to love harder, or choose today to build on a greater love tomorrow.

To my men, if your woman is out-sacrificing you, you are a SIMP.

Men, you can not reach your full potential in love without sacrifice. It is not that women do not make great sacrifices, but when it comes between you and sacrifice with the woman you love, you should aim to be undefeated.

Day 10- 12 Days of Love Challenge 🖤

Can you really fall in "love at first sight?"

This would be like falling in love with the dream car you've always wanted, not knowing that the deal for it to be yours would require you to assemble it by hand from scratch. (engine, body, frame, nuts, and bolts)

Could you do it? Better yet, how would this change things? Would it be that you fall out of love with the car or out of love with the work?

How often do new things stay new? How often does infatuation fade, as fresh possibilities compete for or replace our attention; or how often do older things once prized wear thin from previous allure?

Love may have its beginnings in some form of infatuation, even though infatuation is not love in its full story. But, it is the product of love you build that you will often fall in love with the most.

Day 9- 12 Days of Love Challenge 🖤

The 80/20 rule of relationships is that not one person can fulfill your desires perfectly to 100%. At best it can be 80%, and the 20% of things you may desire to be different in your relationship or in another person, will require work by the other person and work(which includes) patience by you. This work is love.

How long have you searched for this 100% fulfillment in your dating or relationships?Have you found the 100% in another person without the work required. Has anyone found their 100% in you?

Maybe we can seek first to be that 100% to offer in our relationships; and by doing so, instead of focusing on the 20% missing in another, focus on 100% of the work to give to make that relationship its best.

Day 8- 12 Days of Love Challenge 🖤

Valentine's day, for all intended purposes, is marketed for eros love(romance, desire, and physical affection). It is simply easier to sell s*x and romance than to sell truth and knowledge.

S*x and romance sell, but the practice of true love, not so much. Knowing this, would you still rather pay for love or learn to practice it's truths?

True love can reinforce s*x and s*x can reinforce love, especially for men(and as a married man myself, I believe in the value of s*x intended after marriage). But injury can happen when these are viewed as one and the same.

When you learn to separate s*x and love, you are on your way to mastering a concept of love that for many, when left misunderstood, has cost them much more than they originally intended.
