An egotistical mindset finds it difficult to accept blame, leading to excessive blaming of the partner and a refusal to apologize or admit mistakes.

Ego destroys relationships by prioritizing being "right" over connection, fostering stubbornness, and preventing apologies. It fuels defensiveness, creating toxic emotional distance, resentment, and turning partners into adversaries rather than teammates.
