The Maynooth Book Fair returns to the university on the 1st of October.

You'll find booksellers from across Ireland in Renehan Hall on the South Campus that day from 10-4pm.

Graiguenamanagh Town of Books this weekend. Shops open from 12 until 5 Friday then Saturday and Sunday 10 until 5. 25 dealers including 5 over from UK. Usual range of dealers from Antiquarian through to the general reader and children's. Pop up shops from the top of the main street all through the town to the two halls along the banks of the Barrow. Coins, postcards, stamps etc too in the boathouse and the scout hall by the river.

Lovely visit from Louis de Bernières today. We are publishing a new edition of his poetry collection ‘Imagining Alexandria.’ It will be launched on Saturday, July 5th at The Salmon Bookshop & Literary Centre. This special event is part of the Ennistymon Book Town Festival, 5th and 6th of July.
