5 years ago on Mother’s Day,
God called our mom home.
A mother of 4 becoming an angel on Mother’s Day.
It’s still crazy to think about.
To think there was a time where our mom was here.
Going to pilates, taking my sisters to Japantown, walking Liyah & Soph at Fort Funston, taking all my makeup, and telling my brother how much she loves him.
She was our rock.
As busy as she was as a mom she always made time for the people she loved.
Life hasn’t been the same without her.
Last few days of her life was filled with love & so many I love yous.
Not everyone gets that chance to say goodbye or prepare for your mom to leave the world, yet we were lucky to have to be with her.
I always think about I’ll never get the chance to choose a wedding dress with her.
To have her in the labor room with me.
To see her hair turn grey.
But, she didn’t leave me alone.
She left me my siblings and through them she will always be there for all those moments.
Not a day goes by where we don’t think about you or talk about how crazy you were.
Every time I see a sunflower I know it’s you saying hi.
Mommy I love you with my whole heart.
Our guardian angel.
