Yes, you're serving. Yes, you're praying. Yes, you're worshiping.
Pero yes, napapagod ka rin, nalulungkot ka rin, at minsan parang ayaw mo nang gumalaw.
You are in ministry. But you are also human.
๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ญ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ
Minsan, burnout ang dahilan. Sunod-sunod ang commitments pero kulang sa pahinga.
Minsan, discouragement. Nakakapagod magbigay kapag pakiramdam mo, walang nakaka-appreciate.
Minsan, unprocessed grief or trauma. Dala mula sa loob o labas ng ministry.
At kapag walang ligtas na space para ilabas โto, pwedeng sumabog sa loob
๐๐ฏ๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ
Elijah asked God to take his life after a huge victory (1 Kings 19).
David wrote psalms filled with sorrow and anxiety (Psalm 42, 55).
Even Jesus wept (John 11:35) and felt โsorrowful to the point of deathโ (Matthew 26:38).
๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐งโ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐๐ฒ
Ministry means youโre a vessel.
But vessels need mending, refilling, and realignment too.
You are not disqualified when you're weak.
You are not "unspiritual" when you're sad or anxious.
And you are definitely not a burden when you ask for help.
๐๐จ ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐จ?
1. Talk to someone. A pastor, a mentor, or even a Christian counselor.
2. Normalize rest. God created the Sabbath not as a law, but as love.
3. Feed your inner life. Not everything is a task. Some things are just for you and God.
4. Seek professional help when needed. Faith and therapy can walk together.
5. Be kind to yourself. Jesus already carried the weight you're trying to bear alone.
You can serve God and still struggle. Thatโs okay.
God isnโt surprised by your weariness.
