The Government of Punjab should be ashamed of the way it is treating its own people.
At a time when citizens are facing the worst economic crisis in years, instead of offering relief, the Punjab government is bombarding them with heavy traffic fines, FIRs for minor issues, and even targeting young teenagers. This is not governance — this is humiliation.
Families across Punjab are crushed under electricity bills so high that more than half of their monthly income is gone before the month even begins. People feel that electricity in Punjab has become more expensive than in some of the poorest and most unstable countries in the world. This situation is nothing less than disgraceful.
How can a government claim to work for “public welfare” when it is draining every last rupee from the people it is meant to protect?
How can the Punjab government justify punishing its citizens when mere survival has become a daily battle?
How long will it ignore the pleas of people struggling just to afford basic necessities?
The people of Punjab are exhausted — pushed, punished, and pressured beyond limits.
They deserve relief, not exploitation.
They deserve dignity, not fines and FIRs.
They deserve real leadership, not this shameful neglect.
