This seemed like one of those “Here n***a, damn” promos. Did it on the fly and submitted to make sure they didn’t no show. That said, he spent more time self-deprecating himself than actually attacking his opponent.

The ending was real abrupt and that point you walked away to grab the title was... awkward. Should habe just had it right next to you off camera.

Was a good promo. Those 2 cons just took away from it being a great promo.

No matter the quality of the promo, Alpha's character always comes through. He made it feel effortless here.

The substance of the promo wasn't all there. It didn't hit much harder than "I dont know who my opponent is and im gonna win"

As I said, then personality was there but the content wasn't. Maybe thats a reflection of the match up rather than Alpha, but it is what it is. This felt like a promo that could get the job done for sure, but not one to remember.

Pros:
It took a while to get past the infamous "history lesson" style promo ("here's what I've done" "here's what happened between us" etc.), but it did get past that gear which is always good. The glitch cam side showed there's some creativity in there.

Cons:
The delivery and the character weren't hitting much for me. The Grayson Li character is one that could stand out, but it needs the person behind it to bring it to life. The delivery here felt like you enjoy this and want to be here but there's people in the bwo who make me believe this is their LIFE.

Final Thoughts:
This promo needed to develop a bit more in giving me a story, and a decent amount more in the delivery. It certainly wasn't one that was hard to get through, but this showing didn't come off as champion material.
