The University of Rizal System - Morong Campus (URSM) held its annual Recognition Rites, Sakbay and Pinning Ceremonies with the theme: "URS: Forging Innovations and Transformative Actions Towards Educational Excellence,” at Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Tanghalan ng Sining (EARTS), June 10.

It highlights the awarding of Latin Honors, special citations, and formal pinning of graduates from the various undergraduate programs under the College of Education (COE), College of Engineering (COEng), College of Science (COS), and College of Industrial Technology (CIT).

𝗧𝗞, 𝗚𝗔𝗗, 𝗦𝘁𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗗'𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

In commemoration of Women's Month and upcoming Pride Month, the Teatro Kagilalasan (TK), together with the Gender and Development Center (GAD) and Students and Advocates Responsive to Gender and Development (StARGAD), staged two play to provide enriching entertainment for the university community.

The said play featured two productions, “BYLINE: KABABAIHAN” and "What the Heart Wants,” wherein it depicted the importance of women's empowerment, gender equity, diversity, and inclusivity.

In a vibrant celebration filled with cheers and heartfelt applause, the College of Education (COE) celebrated its graduating class' congratulatory ceremony with the theme: "A Legacy of Dedication: Celebrating Passion and Perseverance in Teaching".

The ceremony marked the accomplishment of their internship and the awarding of exceptional student teachers, held at URSM Function Hal, April 28.

In the calm of her embrace, a compass is found.
A mother’s soft lullaby, in love's gentle sound,
Her wisdom like oceans, deep and astound.

Yellow beams brightly, a sunburst of cheer,
In dawn's embrace, worries disappear.
Her laughter, a melody that dances in air,
A beacon of joy, spreading warmth everywhere.

Black holds the stories of pain and strife,
The screams of doubts that challenge her life,
In shadows of the night, where struggles reside,

𝗖𝗢𝗘 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘀 𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗠 2025 𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀

The College of Education (COE) celebrated a double victory as Jeuan Marco S. Acleta and Franz Danielle Ilog are crowned Mister & Miss University Morong (MMUM) 2025. Their triumph is further sweetened by James Joseph S. Berlanga, also from COE, who earned the title of first runner-up. Additionally, Vea Jean O. Nebris represented the college with honor.

The event was a vibrant showcase of talent and cultural pride, brought together students from the four colleges under the theme, “Radiance of Traditions: A Celebration of Culture and Grace,” held at Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Tanghalan Sining (EARTS), March 26.

Considering the achievements of the COE candidates in the competition, this marks a back-to-back-to-back crowning moment. Following the successes of Charlene Mae Alvarez as Ms. University Morong 2023 and Triszhana Rhuzhima Deinla as Ms. University Morong 2024, the college has consistently demonstrated elegance and brilliance in campus-wide pageantry over the past three academic years.

Furthermore, out of the 16 candidates who forged wisdom and projected grandeur of presence, only 6 captured the hearts of both judges and the audience. With their outstanding beauty and intelligence, this year’s titleholders are as follows:

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The Light Bringers Club (LBC) inaugurated the Mr. and Ms. College of Education (COE) 2025, highlighting the theme "Elegance, Authenticity, Empowerment: Purposeful Beauty," at the Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Tanghalan Sining (EARTS), March 6.

Twenty students from various academic programs participated in the competition, showcasing their talents through a production number, attire presentations, and a question-and-answer segment. The event aimed to select representatives for the upcoming Mr. and Ms. University Morong 2025.

After evaluating the candidates' stage presence, articulation, and composure, the top five contestants in both categories progressed to the final round. Their responses to questions about education and personal attributes were crucial in determining the winners.

Following deliberation, Jeuan Marco S. Acleta (Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English) and Franz Danielle C. Ilog (Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics) were crowned Mr. and Ms. COE 2025. Vea Jean O. Nebris (Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English) and James Joseph S. Berlanga (Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education, Major in Home Economics) were named first runners-up.

The selection process emphasized not only poise and presentation but also advocacy and leadership, in line with the competition's focus on purposeful beauty. The winners will now prepare to represent the COE in the university-wide pageant, competing against delegates from other colleges.
