This is the village of Boscastle in Cornwall, England. And the families that live here have called it home for generations.
It was once famous for this picturesque harbour, attracting thousands of people each year.
But on the 16th of August 2004 that all changed when a flash flood ripped through this village destroying buildings and sweeping around 150 cars out into the bay.
Reports that came out after, stated that over 5 hours, 200mm or 8 inches of rain fell on Boscastle to put that into perspective, 8 inches is nearly three times the average monthly rainfall for the UK.
In our latest video we look at how this all unfolded show you how one storm destroyed a community and what happened in the aftermath to try and save it.
