My love for photography began in the early 1970s during a junior high school photography class. Equipped with a Nikkormat EL camera, black and white film rolls, and an eagerness to learn, I immersed myself in the art form. I discovered the intricacies of cameras, films, darkrooms, and composition, although not without making mistakes along the way. Despite my passion, my father believed photograph

y wouldn't provide a stable career. Fast forward 50 years, and here I am, returning to my passion with an iPhone and the wonders of digital processing. The iPhone has reignited my love for photography, offering convenience and limitless creative opportunities. This return to photography has brought me joy and a chance to express myself. With each click, I strive to tell stories, evoke emotions, and share my unique perspective. Photography is no longer a hobby—it is an integral part of who I am, allowing me to see beauty in the world and communicate through images. Fall always feels like the season for comfort, good books, and meaningful art. It’s one of my favorite times to wander through a museum and just take it all in.
