🚨🌾 Texas is on high alert. Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller has declared an emergency response after a new invasive pest—the cotton seed bug—was detected in the state.

The bug feeds on developing cotton seeds and fibers, posing a major threat to both cotton production and ornamental industries. And since Texas grows nearly 40% of America’s cotton, the stakes are high.

State officials are now deploying rapid response teams, quarantines, and public reporting efforts to stop the pest before it spreads further.

🪩 What do you think—are invasive species one of ag’s biggest hidden threats?

Boston just went full cowboy 🤠🐎 — hosting its first rodeo in nearly a century.

The event was sanctioned and brought broncs, barrel racing, and bull riding to a city better known for tea parties and baseball — and the crowd loved it. It’s another sign that Western culture is having a serious moment — from fashion to food to now, arena dirt in downtown Boston.

👉 What do you think — should rodeos keep popping up in major cities, or stay rooted in the heartland? Let us know in the comments and tune into this weeks ep 231 to hear our thoughts!

🍟🌱 McDonald’s is going back to the farm—literally. The fast-food giant just announced new investments in regenerative agriculture, focusing on beef, dairy, and potato supply chains.

The goal? Healthier soil, better water use, and reduced emissions across the food system.

But with McDonald’s being one of the largest buyers of beef and potatoes in the world, the big question is: is this real change, or just greenwashing?

👉 What do you think: bold step forward, or clever PR? Tune into this weeks podcast ep 230 to discover more and hear our thoughts 🤍🫶🏻🪩

From rock bottom to Vatican City 🙏🎶

Jelly Roll just made history—performing Hard Fought Hallelujah at St. Peter’s Square and meeting Pope Leo XIV. A man who once couldn’t even get a passport because of his record is now standing on one of the holiest stages in the world. It’s a story of redemption, transformation, and faith that feels bigger than music.

We broke it all down—what this moment means for Jelly Roll, the music industry, and culture at large—on this week’s Discover Ag Podcast.

Did you know eggs are treated totally differently in Europe vs the U.S.? 🥚

In America, eggs are washed to remove bacteria, which also strips away their natural protective coating. That’s why they must be refrigerated. ❄️

In Europe, eggs aren’t washed—instead, hens are vaccinated against salmonella. Their shells keep their natural “bloom,” meaning eggs can safely sit on the counter. 🇪🇺

Two different systems, one goal: safe, nutritious eggs. 🍳✨
Did you know this difference ? Do you think one method is better than the other ?

🍔✨ Did you know your In-N-Out order comes with more than just burgers and fries? Ep 228 of the podcast we debrief it all ….

Since the 1980s, the chain has been quietly printing Bible verses on the bottoms of cups, fry trays, and wrappers.

It started with Rich Snyder, son of the founders, as a way to share his faith—and the tradition has continued for decades.

From John 3:16 on soda cups to Proverbs 24:16 on milkshakes, these hidden verses have become part of In-N-Out’s identity.

Some fans love it, others don’t even notice—but it’s one of those details that makes the West Coast chain unlike any other.

👉 Did you know about this hidden detail, or will you be checking your fries next time? 🍟✝️
