Quite slow yesterday but last night wind picked up to 30 knots on the beam. Lots of wind and rain overnight both didn't get much sleep as we were looking after Checkers. Overcast today still windy making excellent progress.

150 mi to run to the reef of New Caledonia.

After a recent streak of misadventures, we’ve been toying with the idea of renaming the boat. She’s currently called Checkers, but we’re thinking something a little more... memorable.
What are your thoughts on this?
