From writing for Rainbow, to fronting We’ll Tell You A Story, starring in The Christopher Lillicrap Show, AND helping educate the nation with Numbertime on the BBC – this man was your childhood!
Oh, and did I mention he created El Nombre? Over 90 sketches and episodes across a decade – this guy put the “olé” in education! Teachers, you can thank him later!

Chris now lives the island life on beautiful Symi in Greece, and has a heartwarmingly fascinating story as to why. Retirement is NOT on the cards anytime soon with new music to come as Chris goes back to his roots and popped in for a proper chinwag, and trust me, it’s one you don’t want to miss! This man is truly captivating from start to finish with some of the most incredible stories from a somewhat 50 odd year career!

Saddend to hear of the passing of the late great Brian Trueman who has died at aged 92.

A marvellous career in television and radio, most notably children's TV. He is be best known as the writer of and actor in some of the most recognised programmes of the 70s, 80s and 90s such as Dangermouse, Duckula, Jamie and the Magic Torch, Chorlton and the Wheelies and Cockleshell Bay. The latter programme aslo aired in early episodes of Rainbow. In the cartoon Duckula Brian is noted particularly for playing "Nanny".

He was a very clever, funny writer and performer.

A call out to all the Rainbow kids!

To celebrate the last podcast in the current run with Malcolm Lord and the brand new up-coming series 'Celebrity Playground' starting with Ronnie Le Drew and Colleen Daley; we want you to share your memories of watching the long-running educational series that ran on ITV for more then 20 years when you were just a nipper!

In the last episode of the series, Malcolm shares stories and antics puppeteering George and taking on the role of Bungle and in an up-coming series, Tweenies icon Colleen meets her heroe Ronnie and Zippy!

So I want to know who your favourite characters were... Perhaps you were a chatterbox like Zippy or were you bossy like Bungle? What were your favourite singing Trio... Were you a Rod Jane & Rodger fan or like most of us were you singing along to Rod, Jane & Freddy? What episodes stuck out to you the most... Maybe the time Zippy got toung tide or when Bungle gained super powers as the one and only 'Super Bungle?

Well, what a fantastic run it's been!! I'm overjoyed with the amount of support my followers have given me!

We started this new run way back in April with an exclusive from American voice artist Korey Durham, the new voice of classic Barney and I surprised YouTube sensation Adam B with a gift and James Propmaker showed us his 'life sized' replica Brum model!

The new series officially kicked off in style with my BIGGEST podcast and reunion to date; with a very prestigious line-up from the BBC TV series 'Playdays'. Since then I've spoken to a Tweenie, CBBC royalty, a guy who knows a thing or two about alians. As well as a 90s presenting giant and a 80s fitness megastar! Phew... Now breath!

So at last we have come to our 9th and final guest for this season! And I'm back talking all things Rainbow with actor and panto connoisseur Malcolm Lord! Malcolm is best known for puppeteering George alongside Ronnie (Zippy) and later taking on the role of the ever pompous but lovable Bungle in the long running and successful thames tv series, working on the show for nearly a decade!

For the past 30 years, Malcolm has starred yearly in some of the UK's biggest and best panto productions as a well respected Dame and even a fairy godmother! A role he'll always treasure and never give up! He's even had a run playing Santa in 'Santa the musical' all but to name a few!
