AIII picks up where the explosive discoveries of Ashley and Maddie left off, bringing the saga of Ashes to its inevitable conclusion.We are upstate New York, in the Hudson Valley and meet Dr. Jane Chu, the head therapist of St. Vincent, a formerly leading institution in the treatment of pediatric psychiatry, that has fallen from grace after an alleged scandal involving the charismatic CEO, Dr. Sermon, who has since disappeared.Dr. Chu looks after patient #23, a young girl, who suffers from dissociative amnesia and explores an experimental therapy, named P.A.T. with her, but instead of regaining her own memories, she connects with the consciousness of four young women around the world.Fighting a losing battle Dr. Chu travels deeper into the dark heart of the Hudson Valley to uncover a secret that may not only hold the key to 23’s memories, but also, by way of an AI, connect herself with Dr. Sermon, and Ashley Norman and potentially alter the fate of mankind.
