Hey Mama, let’s talk about December…
December is full of special occasions—holiday parties, family dinners, Christmas morning, New Year’s Eve… it can feel like the whole month is one big excuse to press pause on your health goals.
But here’s what we’ve learned: It’s not the occasional indulgences that derail your progress—it’s letting the whole month turn into an endless holiday binge.
🎄 Special occasions are meant to be just that—special. Christmas dinner, cookie decorating with your kiddos, a holiday party or two 🍾🥂… these moments are rare and worth enjoying! The problem? When “special” starts stretching into every day of the month.
✨ Here’s how we stay on track without missing the fun:
1️⃣ Pick your moments. Decide ahead of time which celebrations you’ll fully enjoy—Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or your favorite party—and stick to your usual habits the rest of the time.
2️⃣ Eat mindfully. When you do indulge, do it with intention. Savor every bite, and don’t eat just because food is there or someone says, “Go ahead, it’s the holidays!”
3️⃣ Keep moving. Even a 15-minute workout or a quick walk can help you stay energized and focused this month. Don’t let a busy schedule stop you from prioritizing YOU. We’ve even got you covered with free savable workouts right here 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Last December, we gave ourselves permission to enjoy the holiday season without guilt—and guess what? We still started January feeling strong, confident, and on track with our goals.
This month, you can absolutely celebrate AND stay consistent. It’s all about finding balance.
💬 What’s your plan for December? Are you picking a few indulgent days, or are you keeping it steady all month long? Let us know below—we’d love to hear how you’re approaching the holidays this year!
💛 Here’s to a month of memories, balance, and strength, Mama. You’ve got this!
