RERA has just fined a builder ₹1 Lakh for putting up simple "Coming Soon" posters and online ads for an unregistered project "One World, Bramhmapura Railway Colony" in Muzaffarpur.

The Authority ruled that even teaser promotions violate Section 3 of the RERA Act – no advertising allowed before registration!

This order (dated 24 Dec 2025) reinforces buyer protection and transparency. Great step by Bihar RERA!

In the recent judgment (5 Jan 2026) by Justice Sandeep V. Marne in Apsara Co-operative Housing Society Ltd. vs Vijay Shankar Singh, the court said such income is only to cut maintenance costs – not commercial business.
