I took time to breathe, reflect, and recharge. Now September's here with fresh energy and clarity.

On Friday, I met up with my friend Sam for our first co-working session in ages.

On Friday night, my niece Ashleigh and I got dressed up and went to the Shoalhaven Business Awards. It was a really fun night.

Hyperfocus…. It's a blessing and a curse.

Nonetheless, it's finally happening!

I've been a little (Okay, a lot) obsessed with getting South Coast Women off the ground, and the site is officially LIVE at SCWOMEN.AU!

This is the first thing I've built for myself in ages that I actually think is pretty damn cool. I am both happy and I feel a little sick 🤢

I’ve had a chat with myself and told myself I need to stop all the late nights and my biscuit and cereal diet before I burn out!

I often have people reach out about site speed with questions like, "How can I make my site faster?" It's rarely a quick fix.

Since 2018, I've loved speed optimisation. I remember when my obsession started, I spent a month breaking my test sites over and over.

My dedication to site speed has remained strong.

I still enjoy the process of fine-tuning for every extra point in Google Lighthouse, and especially that rewarding celebration party popper thingy that Google gives you when you get "all green" scores of 100 across the board 🎉.

Speed optimisation is a core element of my website-building process.
I specialise in the lightweight Kadence theme and build with factors like DOM size in mind.
