Thank you to everyone who congratulated me on a new job several weeks ago when I updated my LinkedIn Profile. Rather than a new job, I have rebranded, after putting on my big boy pants in the form of transitioning the business from Sole Proprietor to an LLC

The new site moving forward is madebyjcurtis.com, and I will continue to update the portfolio with the stories that I was blessed to be chosen to capture, for companies that I respect and admire with compelling stories to tell.

Although I wouldn't say every company needs to have a Chief Storyteller, I am often inspired by the ways in which the companies I partner with, are able to use the stories we create together, to drive business outcomes, whether sales, marketing, communications, or attracting and retaining the best people possible.

Often people ask me what accounting software to use for their small business. I have been using Freshbooks for a few years now and love the interface, the invoicing and payment features. taken while on a film scouting trip in Malawi with acclaimed director . When I came back to San Diego, the streets seemed like they were in better condition then they were when I left and the on demand, free running, water flowing into my house didn’t taste as bad for some reason.
