Pakistan clinch the 3-match ODI series with a hard-fought 4 wicket win in the decider.

Pakistan’s bowlers bowled Australia out for 157 in 42 overs.
Shaheen Afridi led with 3/30, Abrar Ahmed took 2/19, and Shadab Khan chipped in with 2/28. A complete team effort to restrict the Aussies.

The chase was far from straightforward. Australia fought back and reduced Pakistan to 112/6. Babar Azam top-scored with 40(84) and Maaz Sadaqat gave a quick 27(26), but wickets kept falling.

ButShadab Khan 29*(42) and Abdul Samad 18*(30) held their nerve. Their unbeaten 49-run 7th wicket partnership finished the game in 41.5 overs and sealed the series for Pakistan.

Matthew Kuhnemann led Australia’s fight with 3/38, but Pakistan crossed the line.

Clinical Sri Lanka beat West Indies by 41 runs in the 1st ODI to go 1-0 up in the three-match series.

Batting first, Sri Lanka posted a competitive 303/7. Top performances came from Pathum Nissanka 79(103), Kusal Mendis 72(62), Charith Asalanka 45(44) and Janith Liyanage 44*(29).

Then Dushmantha Chameera 4/67 and Maheesh Theekshana 2/26 led the bowling charge as Sri Lanka bowled out West Indies for 262 in 49.2 overs.

Shai Hope 56 and Justin Greaves 45 were the top scorers for West Indies.

With this win, Sri Lanka boost their ICC World Cup 2027 direct qualification hopes, while West Indies suffer a blow in their qualification campaign.

National T20 Cup 2025-26 Final - Date Announced!

The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed the final of the ABS Developers National T20 Cup 2025-26 will be held on Sunday, 7 June 2026 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The match was previously postponed on 18 March. Toss will take place at 7:30 PM PKT with the first ball bowled at 8:00 PM PKT. Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi is expected to attend as chief guest.

Karachi Region Whites and Abbottabad Region will contest the final. Karachi Whites topped their group and defeated Sialkot by five wickets in semi-final one. Abbottabad Region topped their group with three wins. They advanced to the final after the second semi-final against Lahore Whites ended with no result due to persistent rain, with progression decided on group stage standing.

The 10-team tournament began on 7 March in Peshawar and ran until 17 March before the final was rescheduled. All eyes now turn to Lahore for the decider.
