so school started and I've been playing Palworld these past few days it's entertaining but of course, I still put time into learning unity

here is a simple inventory system using scriptable objects
UI is not yet implemented and using, equipping, or dropping items has not yet been added

you can only pick up items and it will check if you have the item in your inventory if not it will be added to a new slot but otherwise, it will be added to your current item I also added a simple pop-up to pick it up and what item it is those cubes are just placeholders

I used a ray cast to check if you are facing the object I've been experimenting with ray cast it's very fun to use you can create a lot of stuff using it

I don't know why but Facebook is not letting me post multiple videos or pictures within one post.

I've been tinkering with the animation of Unity since my last post this is one of them. I am still trying to learn how to smooth things out. I don't really have much to say about these past few days but one thing is this Devlog really gets me motivated to learn things I've been studying a lot of things lately that I don't know where to begin but at least It's better than playing all day or doing nothing.

Dev Log #0

So I created a simple game today to learn the fundamentals of unity and c # without watching any Tutorials but I did search not that much though. I created the Health Bar and Stamina Bar in Paint with that I was able to create a simple Health and Stamina System this is just a prototype so there's not much to it all objects are primitive objects in unity

For the past three weeks, I have been practicing Unity AGAIN. I have always wanted to create my own game since high school, but every time I try to learn Unity, watch tutorials, to just get stuck in a tutorial hell. Though I was able to make some games, they were all just copies from the tutorial, and I didn't learn anything. So, I gave up.

But Recently, since my semester break started, I became more focused and more dedicated to learn and create my own game. I plan to release at least one devlog a week, and I'm also trying to learn Blender to create my own assets. This weekly devlog will help me become more dedicated to my goal.
