So, it wasn't a big surprise when he got angry and fussy after my wife announced that she was going part-time at work to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. What I didn't expect was to come home to her crying on the living room floor next to her destroyed home library. Even my heart sank. All her cherished and annotated books were torn apart, scattered across the floor. She was picking up the pieces, cradling them like a child, sobbing uncontrollably.
