We took part in the Des Moines 48 Hour Film Challenge and created Knead to Succeed. It’s always a wild experience making a film from start to finish in just two days, and this year was no exception.

A huge thank you to our incredible cast and crew who gave it their all to bring this story to life under the clock. We couldn’t have done it without your hard work and dedication.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Shelly Sweets in Newhall, IA, for letting us film in their space, it made all the difference.

The 48 is something we look forward to every year, and we’re already excited to do it again next time!

Today 5683 screens at Smodcastle Film Festival in New Jersey! A film born from some of Kevin Smiths biggest fans, it’s truly a dream come true for THIS movie to find its place there.
Kevin Shepherd, our writer and producer, is out there representing us and our work and I know he has already run into some of the folks we’ve been inspired by for years and made some of the most unbelievable memories.
Cheers team!
I can only hope we make it back to this festival again 💜

Our favorite time of year has come and gone! This past weekend we successfully completed yet another 48 hour film challenge! I've been calling this one a chugger, because boy did we chug along all 48 hours to get this film made. And none of it would be possible without the team, Sleepless in Marengo!
And so we present the poster for our latest 48 hour film Drama: Knead to Succeed!

If there was a place that 5683 belonged, it would be at a festival hosted by the filmmaker the team looks up to most, is inspired by most; a filmmaker whom both Kevin and Michael have bonded endlessly over..

We had a few goals for 5683: that people laugh and that people get to see it and honestly, so far so good! But we also had a DREAM for 5683 and that was for it to make it into none other than Kevin Smith’s film festival and I can’t believe I get to say that we are an official selection at the SModCastle Film Festival this year!!!

It’s hard to put into words what this means to us, but you can bet we are beyond floored at this news! 5683 is definitely a movie born from a couple of folks who love Kevin Smith’s work and we can’t believe we get to the opprutunity to be apart of this festival. So proud of us team! We going to New Jersey !!!💕
