City Cast Boise and Hey Boise are suspending operations. Our last episode and newsletter will be Oct. 24.

You’ve given us support at every turn, but (news flash!) media is a hard business, and local media is even harder. We haven’t been able to bring in as many listeners, readers, advertisers, and members as we need. Ultimately, our bosses decided to close up shop here for now, with the hope that City Cast will be able to return to Boise in the future. For now, City Cast will continue operating in 13 other cities across the U.S., including Seattle and the Twin Cities, which launch next week.

We’ve loved the conversation we’ve been having with you for the past three years — the funny, messy, boisterous conversation about this city we all love. We’ll miss chatting about California transplants, marveling at In-N-Out lines, and trying potato ice cream so you didn’t have to.

And we still have one more week of episodes to share, including Monday’s episode on West Ada School Board elections.

We’d love to include YOU in our final episode and newsletter on Oct. 24. Tell us how City Cast Boise has been part of your life—your favorite episode, a story that changed your mind, or something that made you feel more connected to the city.
