After 70 percent of Gaza's homes were destroyed during 100 days of Israeli attacks, displaced Palestinians fear they will have nothing to return to their hometowns after the war ends. All their houses, markets, universities, institutions have been destroyed. Here's what they have. If they go back to Gaza City, they will pitch a tent. Is homelessness their destiny? Displaced in 1948 and now again in 2024? At least 33 people were killed and dozens injured as a result of Israeli bombardment of houses in northern Gaza City early this morning. During South Africa's genocide hearing at the International Court of Justice, which began last week, Israel's lawyers pointed to efforts to facilitate humanitarian aid in Gaza as evidence against claims of genocide. This is a scary situation. Health care capacity is simply not enough to handle this massive number of 61,000 injured.
