Hi, I’m Jeremy Crawford, a certified RV Technician proudly serving Decatur, Denton, Argyle, Jacksboro, and surrounding areas in beautiful North Texas.

I specialize in mobile RV repair, inspections, & upgrades, which means I come to you, whether you’re parked at a campground, your home, or broken down on the road. I’m certified through the RV Technicians Association of America (RVTAA) & National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) and trained to handle everything from electrical and plumbing issues to HVAC and appliance repairs.

After two more weeks at ; I am now officially a Certified RV Inspector with .

RV Inspectors are similar to home inspectors in the things we are looking for; we just do them on RVs.

That wraps up my 7 weeks and I must say it wasn’t easy and it is fast paced. Like drinking water from a fire hose.

I have spent the last 5 weeks at completing my RV Service Technician Certification. It was a hard 5 weeks covering topics like:
•RV Fundamentals
•Absorption & 12v Refrigerators
•Air Conditioners
•RV Exteriors (slides, awnings, levelers, etc)
•Furnaces & Water Heaters

There were weeks I wasn’t sure I would grasp it but after a 5 hour test on Saturday; I can say I am now a Certified RV Technician. I am getting one for certification over the next few weeks and I can’t wait to share that with you.

I’m the coming days I will be announcing what this means and why I got this certification.

So many people have wondered what’s next; here is a sneak peak at it. I have officially started the 7 week program at to become a certified technician and an inspector. Going back to school to learn something completely new and foreign is difficult but I am up for the challenge.

I’ve spent the last 8 weeks going through a program; Veterans Venture Program. It is a cohort of specially selected veterans, dependents, Active/Reserve Military, or GS Employees that sit down and pitch business ideas and get coached by a industry experts on how to build business plans, financial plans, conduct market research, and many other areas. At the end of the 8 weeks we get to pitch a well crafted business plan to judges for a chance to win grant money to fund our business venture and we compete against all other members in the cohort.

This is the front slide of my presentation that I pitch on Monday; this is just the next step in what Countryside RVing is becoming. I can’t wait to share more with you.

2025 is coming with many big/epic changes. Some I am super excited about and others super sad about. For those changes to happen; they hinged on this… after 20+ years of service; I have decided to retire from the US Coast Guard. Spent the week in and it I so beautiful. Loved seeing how they are getting ready for the 2024 men’s Open.

But the highlight of my trip was visiting at BHAWK. If you want to see a veteran owned company doing it right and being supported by the community then you need to go visit them. Plus the chicken sandwich is one of the best out there.

Secret location with jaw-dropping views…

If you venture just 45 mins northwest of Albuquerque towards Jemez, NM. There will be a small road that is easy to miss. It will take you down a long narrow road and at the end will be these amazing tunnels; Gilman Tunnels. If you go between April 15th - Dec 1st then you can drive through the tunnels.

These tunnels were used for many decades to run lumber on the Santa Fe Northwestern Railway.

These are an absolute must see if you are in the area.
