The 13th Annual Health Fair, hosted by the Somali Health Board, brought the community together for a day of health resources, wellness services, and celebration. This year’s event also marked the ribbon cutting of the new Somali Community & Cultural Innovation Hub, now home to Somali Health Board, Somali Community Services of Seattle, and Alnur Islamic Center. The event was attended by elected officials including Rep. Adam Smith, Port of Seattle Commissioner Hamdi Mohamed, and SeaTac Mayor Mohamed Elgal, along with religious leaders, community members, partners, and health providers.

Missing Person Update (5/19): Muse Sugulle has been found and is no longer missing.

Missing Person

Muse Sugulle has been reported missing and was last seen May 17th at around 5:30PM in the vicinity of Military Rd S and S 146th St.

Sugulle is approximately 6’ tall, 165lbs and is missing several of his front teeth. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jacket, black pants and Nike shoes with black lettering. He is known to frequent a Somali coffee shop in SeaTac and also one in Seattle in the area of Othello and MLK.

He has a history of seizures and has been known to become confused easily to the point that he forgets his name at times due to medication he takes.
