Another bitter pill to swallow, the last time we’ll get the orange glow of Monmore Green, another track with so many memories over the years. I’ll certainly miss my Monday night visits to see the mighty Wolverhampton Wolves Speedway…

This was the one I never wanted to see go, but here we are. So many glorious memories since I first become a Peterborough Panthers Speedway fan in the 90’s. Winning the top league as a fan in 1999, 2006 and of course that glorious night in 2021, just months after losing my dad. Pulling on the Peterborough colours and racing at the Showground in 2012 has to be my proudest moment as a rider, such a great track to ride! Also not forgetting the MCN shows I enjoyed here with various people over the years, everything about this place puts a smile on my face. It’s been fun, it’s been emotional, and the Showground will always be my home away from home. Until I see you again x
