It's here, the first playable test demo of my retro roguelike but compiled for modern systems and the web browser :)

Open up the embedded game in full screen using the toggle button and use W A S D to move around. Collect all the idols to move on to the next room and avoid the baddies ...

Started a pygame version of my rogue-like dungeon crawler, so took the opportunity to try some graphics in Asperite. I need a better palette (and to not distract myself), but it’s fun :)

Six and four switch Atari 2600. Somewhere yet to find I have a black “Vader” model too. Probably hiding with my C64 and Vic 20 power supplies 🤦‍♂️

Dug out the remaining Amiga and Atari ST machines from the back of the garage. Will let them acclimate before powering them on.

Yes, I probably have too many. I’ve been very lucky picking up “parts or repairs” on eBay but a couple I did over pay for on marketplace plus one has an FPGA inside 🤓

Old school DOS programming (Turbo BASIC and Turbo C).

Turns out this little palmtop can run a lot of XT software so long as you disable the System Manager which is like a persistent PDA app/menu system with Lotus 123 etc 💾

One of the things I love about Atari is how their designs so obviously fit the time they were created.

I didn’t have access to an Atari until bought an Atari ST, but I’ve always had a fondness for them.

These are my 800XL, 65XE, and The400 mini.
