The past 4-6 weeks have been so mentally draining-From having our rental sold to looking for properties and being declined due to having children having to look for alternatives accommodation to now moving in back to our family home moving with two under 3 has been exhausting.

Gaining weight post Partum when I lost so much weight the first 2 month of safi life and now hating what I see in the mirror

Starting CBT to help with my anxiety and learning about my mental health all over again

Trying to balance becoming self employed and trying to work as much as I can so my girls get a better life

The pressure in motherhood never ends add social media into the mix and it can feel like the whole world is against you ❤️

(The recovery part is missing in recovery you are there for 1-4 hours until you are well enough to go upstairs onto the ward - dad / birth partner can stay with you - you are looked after by recovery nurses )

If your child grabbed a cup of coffee and spilt on themselves, would you know what to do or you panic and freeze?

Here is exactly what you should do
COOL CALL COVER

COOL the burn with cool running water for 20 minutes and remove all clothing and jewellery (unless it is melted or firmly stuck to the wound).

CALL for help for any burn larger than a 50p coin: 999,111 or local GP for advice.

COVER with cling film or a clean non-fluffy dressing or cloth. Make sure the patient is kept warm.
