Imagine being a “Marketing Agency” bragging about how your involvement with Anheuser-Busch helped them leverage “consumer data…transforming its relationship with consumers” and helping “the brewer to better understand and reach people at scale, while making strong connections with individuals and communities.”

Now, couple that with Anheuser-Busch’s current drop in sales, resulting directly from a series of terrible marketing decisions… What exactly is there to brag about?

It seems like the marketing campaign had the opposite of its intended impact. Does Anheuser-Busch still think this was money well spent?

By understanding more about its consumers, the company is creating stronger brand connections
