The main thing that was holding me back from starting my entrepreneurial journey was seeing the amount of success of other business owners. I was discouraged that I wouldn’t grow, and worse… grow quick enough. So if you’re in the same boat, my advice is to JUST START. You can iron everything out along the way. We’re rooting for you.

The #1 thing is to provide excellent customer service so that they know they’re valued. Next, make sure your systems are user-friendly. People get turned off when. They have to find the product or have to wait to confirm availability.

Lately, I have had to literally remind myself to pause and 𝙱 𝚁 𝙴 𝙰 𝚃 𝙷 𝙴 😮‍💨. It’s crazy how something that you assume to be automatic really should be intentional.

Deep, intentional breaths are literally life-saving. Taking moments to breathe deep from your gut (belly) is a form of self-love and self-care.

These breaths will help you release the tension and all that overwhelms you as a business owner who juggles work and family life as well. We see you making it happen! When it gets to feel a bit too heavy, remember to send those love notes to yourself.

I recently finished Atomic Habits by James Clear, my first book of 2022. I automatically started reading it a second time to really absorb the teaching points and gems.

One of the things he mentions is that the key to building lasting habits and changing your life is to 𝙵𝙾𝙲𝚄𝚂 𝙾𝙽 𝙲𝚁𝙴𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙰 𝙽𝙴𝚆 𝙸𝙳𝙴𝙽𝚃𝙸𝚃𝚈 first.

Your current habits and behaviors reflect your current identity (for example: busy mom, dedicated teacher, fit mom, etc. So the habits of a fit mom may be 5am workouts before the kids wake up or to drink a green smoothie for breakfast.

Once you establish who you WANT to become, you decide what processes or systems need to be in place to become that identify.

Want to be an owner of a million-dollar brand? Think: What do these millionaires do on a daily basis? What habits set them a part from the rest?

Who do you want to become? What type of person are you striving to be?
